I get an error after rebooting during the install of Joli OS

  • Make sure you have the latest version. Check available downloads.
  • Check the MD5 sum of the file(s) you downloaded (How do I check the MD5 sum?) If your MD5 sum is not correct(1), please re-download the file(s).
  • Try again, at least one time. If you had an Ethernet cable plugged in, unplug the cable when you try again.

Specific tips with the Windows installer:


(1) MD5 sums of the current release are:

  • Joli-OS-1.2.iso = 6cc186716ab8a33e175e4a0bafbe6a4e
  • Joli-OS-Installer-1.2.exe = d5b3d69f18f4295cb55940dcd41aea6e


Prerequisites to help us diagnose your issue

If it still doesn't work, you can submit a new request. Please provide as much detail as you can, including:

  • The brand of your device
  • The model of your device
  • The install method you tried (Windows installer or ISO with Jolicloud USB Creator)
  • The error message you get (if applicable)
  • detailed description of your issue


We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Note: In any case, stay tuned. If your device is not supported with the current release, there are good chances it will just works with the next one.
