Chromium keyboard shortcuts (for Joli OS)

Joli OS uses Chromium as the default browser and for the web apps. It is the open source version of Chrome. This version is technically similar to Chrome but we have included some optimizations to make it work even better on Joli OS.

Of course, it comes with lots of shortcuts. Here are some of them that can help save you time:

  • Alt + Left arrow to go to the previous page.
  • Alt + Right arrow to go to the next page.
  • Ctrl F to search a word in the page.
  • Ctrl T to open a new tab.
  • Ctrl + Shift T to reopen a tab that has been closed. (The last 10 tabs you've closed should be remembered.)
  • Ctrl N to open a new window.
  • Ctrl + Shift N to open a new window in incognito mode. (More details on Google Chrome Help.)
  • F11 to go full-screen. (Press F11 again to exit full-screen.)

Jolicloud Desktop keyboard shortcuts

You can navigate in the launcher with the UpDownLeft and Right keys, and press Enter to launch an application.

To switch pages in the launcher, just use Ctrl + Left or Ctrl + Right.

To do a quick search, go to your Launcher, hit Tab, type an application’s name, select with Up and Down, and hit Enter.
